Mission & Faith Life

Benedict House Day
Our College community recently celebrated Benedict House Day, honouring the life and work of Benedict of Nursia. St Benedict is known for his wisdom, hospitality and faith, and his message of living with balance through his famous motto “Ora et Labora” – pray and work.
The day began with a special Mass celebrated by Fr Grant Gorddard, where students reflected on how they can live out the Benedictine values of community, humility and service in their daily lives. After Mass, students enjoyed spending time together with a sausage sizzle and house activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Benedict House spirit and strengthen our sense of community.
Thank you to all of the students and staff who helped make this day very special. A special thank you to Fr Grant for celebrating with us and to members of our College community who attended.
Pope Leo XIV's Monthly Prayer Intention
In March, we pray for disarmament and peace.
Let us pray that nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.
