STEAM

We have had a busy first half of the term working on artworks with paper and paint. We started the term making collage then moved onto watercolour painting and scratch painting. All students have contributed to the whole school artwork that will be displayed at the Pakenham Show this weekend. The theme is 'Under the Sea' and our artwork is filled with collage and painted creatures including coral, turtles, fish, shells and jellyfish. 

PERFORMING ARTS 

What a warm welcome to Officer Primary School! Our first term in Performing Arts has been all about getting to know each other and exploring beat, rhythm and pitch through a variety of movement, singing and instrument activities and games. The whole school has been learning a song for harmony day called Language is the Key, we’ve been talking about all the different languages that our families know and how our language is an important part of our culture, community and sense of belonging. Over the next few weeks we’re going to start creating lyrics for our own song about our OPS community.
