School Assembly

Campus assemblies, led by student leadership teams, are lively, student-driven events that seamlessly blend celebration, musical performances, and community engagement. These gatherings often highlight the talents of students, featuring a diverse array of musical genres that energize and excite the campus. Whether marking academic achievements, sporting victories, or cultural milestones, these assemblies foster a strong sense of pride and unity within the student body. Student leaders are instrumental in organizing and guiding these events, showcasing their leadership and communication skills while creating an inclusive space for peers to connect, celebrate, and share in the collective experience.
Delahey Campus
Kicking off the year with an inspiring assembly helped set a positive tone and gave the students the motivation they need to face the challenges ahead.
The leadership of Principal Nick Adamou and the College Captains, paired with musical performances and a celebration of achievements, was a great way to inspire the students. With 2025 being such a pivotal year for the senior students, it was important that they’re reminded of their potential and encouraged to embrace the challenges ahead.
First Year University Students
Congratulations to five of our Year 12 students who been selected for special university programs that allow them to take tertiary subjects while completing their high school studies. These university subjects not only count toward the students' future university degrees but also contribute to their ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) scores. This encourages high-achieving students to engage with university-level coursework while still in school, offering them a head start in their tertiary education journey.

Kings Park Campus
The entire campus came together on Thursday January 30 to welcome each other, and, in particular, our new Year 7 students to the kings Park campus. The assembly was facilitated by our two wonderful Campus Captains in Sarah Scarcella and Umu Jalloh. They both did a sensational job in introducing all our speakers and keeping control of our very excited audience. A sample of the assembly agenda not only included speeches by our College Principal, Mr. Adamou as well as our two Campus Principals, Mr. Petherick and Mr. Carinci, but also our Campus Leaders Mr. Simpson (7-8 Team), Mr. Inabinet (9-10) and several other staff informing students of the various opportunities available here at the Kings Park campus. A big thank you to Mr. Simpson and Mr. Inabinet for helping out with preparing the assembly on the first day our entire cohort returned to school.
