Principal's Report
Kaylene Kubeil

As we say goodbye to 2025, I want to celebrate what has been a positive and rewarding year for our school community. It has been a year filled with growth, learning, laughter, and memorable moments, made possible by our amazing students, the dedication of our staff, and the ongoing support of our families. Together, we have strengthened our sense of belonging and achieved so much to be proud of. On behalf of everyone at the school, I wish everyone a joyful, safe, and relaxing break, and I look forward to another great year at WPS in 2026.
Thank you to our 2025 School Captains for their outstanding leadership throughout the year, and well done on leading your last Primary School assembly.

At this week's assembly, it was an absolute honour and a pleasure to announce our Year 6 leaders for 2026.

Recently, one of our former students, Tara Watson, stopped by to say hello to fellow netball fans at WPS. Tara is currently playing for the Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball competition and is a true testament to the fact that you can achieve your dreams if you put your mind to it. Tara has not only attended Whittlesea Primary School but is also a former student of Whittlesea Secondary College, making her a truly homegrown talent.

Below is a snapshot of Tara's achievements, which are truly inspirational to all our students.
Over the holidays, we will continue to complete some improvement works.
This includes:
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and look forward to another great year in 2026 @ Whittlesea Primary School.
The first day back for all students is Thursday, 29th January.
Regards
Kaylene
