COMMUNITY

Working Bee - Sunday 24 May- THANK YOU!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined our working bee.  We got so much done; it’s amazing what we can achieve when we come together. Our garden is weeded and mulched, our leaves were contained...for a week AND our sensory garden has been rejuvenated.  Â
The grounds really do look fantastic and it’s all thanks to your amazing community spirit. What a team.
So, just where does our P&F fundraising go...
Over past years, with the generosity of our Parents and Friends Association (P&F), we have been able to provide many wonderful assets to our school community. Some of them are:
- Painting our totems with the help of Olive, a local Aboriginal artist
- Buying literacy resources, including decodables to kickstart our Science of Learning, direct and explicit teaching approach
- Purchasing an extra set of soccer goals
- Rejuvenating our Sensory garden
- Reintroducing working bees
- Sponsoring the Year 6 Memory Book each year
- Supporting room upgrades in the middle and senior years classrooms with new carpet, new furniture
Supporting our Days of Joy e.g. Italian Festa day gelatoÂ
AND this is just the tip of the iceberg...Â
Â
The children have put forth some ideas for what they would love to see... so watch this space as we get quotes, plan some new additions and continue to build our collective story as a community built on faith, learning and partnership.Â
