Looking forward

There is a real sense of anticipation in the air as we look expectantly and excitedly to the future. The past few months have been filled with preparations for 2027 and are continuing to gain momentum.  Our master plan has been finalised, enrolment interviews for new students next year are happening, and we are beginning to build our timetable, with Year Ten students commencing the journey to select their pathways for Years Eleven and Twelve.  We are already setting exam and musical performance dates for next year (eeep!) and we are looking forward to welcoming prospective families to GSG tomorrow to attend our 'Discover GSG' day.

Why all this focus on what's next?  Because it is in the planning where we create our future. Future opportunities for students, new courses, co-curricular opportunities, our Rites of Passage for Year Nines and inter-school carnivals.  Work placements, community service connections, trips and tours and new relationships in the Great Southern are all on our horizon so that we make the most of every moment for our families at GSG.

This forward planning is not only happening on campus, but also extends into how we connect with and support our wider school community across the region. As part of our visits to regional towns, we are excited to be heading to Gnowangerup for the first time and look forward to connecting with current, past and prospective families. We warmly invite you to attend our next Meet the Principal, to be held in Gnowangerup on Thursday 18 June from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
