Lawn Bowls

Competing for the first time at this level in the School Sports Victoria competition, the Trinity Lawn Bowls team had direct entry into the Greater Western stage where they competed against teams from the Ballarat, Camperdown and Cobden regions.

They won all their pool games, which took them to the Grand Final to compete against schools from eight regional and metro regions in Victoria. They then progressed into the state final, where they won against Vermont Secondary College by 12 to 6 to become the Junior Secondary State Bowls Champions.

Congratulations Jesse, Max, Max and Hayden for your extraordinary effort, pictured here with Dan Tehan, at the Sport and Volunteer Awards ceremony in Mortlake.

Senior Netball Team

The Senior Netball Team has been incredibly successful this year. They competed in the School Sports Victoria (SSV) Netball competition and finished second out of 84 teams in the state. To get through to the SSV state finals, they first competed at a local level, where they convincingly won all of their games.

The team then progressed to the next stage, where they competed against schools from Warrnambool, Ballarat and Wimmera regions. They again won all of their games, putting them through the state finals in Waverley, where they were up against eight country and metro regions in Victoria. They finished at the top of their pool and played the final against Rowville College, a metro Melbourne sports academy school, where they led most of the game but lost in the last quarter.

The school and community are exceptionally proud of the talented team and their achievements.
