OLF Athletics Carnival 2026

This registration form is for students aged 8 -12 (and those turning 8 in 2026). Please ONLY fill in this form if your child wishes to compete in COMPETITIVE EVENTS to be considered for selection to compete at the next level of competition.

NO late entries will be accepted.

 

If your child would like to race for fun and house points, GRADE EVENTS will be available on the day. These events DON'T require registration.


The OLF Cross Country Trial

Nominations are now closed. 

 

Get ready to run! The OLF Cross Country Trial will be held on Friday, 20 March (Week 8, Term 1). Students aged 8–13 years will be competing to show their endurance, determination and school spirit.

There are two race divisions:

  • Competitive

  • Grade 

 

Students entering the trial must be able to complete the following distances without walking and at a steady pace:

 

  • 8/9 years: 2 km

  • 10 years: 2 km

  • 11 years: 3 km

  • 12/13 years: 3 km

     

All participants are encouraged to wear their House Colour Shirt to proudly represent their House and help create a fun, supportive atmosphere on the day! All students who participate will receive a house point for their house!

Congratulations to Atticus I, Fleur L and Steve Z, who have progressed to the MacKillop Trials in their selected sports. This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of their efforts.

🏉 Term 2 After School AFL Program

We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for students aged 8–12 to get involved in a 4-week AFL program in term 2!

 

This fun and engaging program will be delivered by qualified AFL staff and is designed to keep kids active, learning and having fun in a safe, non-contact environment.

📅 Program Details

  • 4 weekly sessions (before school, day to be confirmed based on interest)

  • For students aged 8–12

  • All sessions fully supervised by trained AFL staff

  • All equipment provided

🌟 What’s Included?

  • Fun, game-based AFL activities

  • Skill development in a safe and supportive setting

  • Activities tailored to all abilities

  • Focus on wellbeing, movement and coordination

  • Connection to local footy pathways

  • Girls-only program options available

  • PLUS each participant receives a take-home footy pack!

💲 Cost

  • $50 per student (total for all 4 sessions – 4 hours of care)
