Dear Parents
As we approach the final weeks of Term 1, it’s wonderful to look back on just how much our students have achieved in such a short time. From settling into new classes to embracing fresh routines, challenges, and friendships, the growth across the school has been fantastic to see. The energy, curiosity, and kindness shown by our students continue to make our school a vibrant place to learn.
With Easter just around the corner, excitement is certainly building. Over the coming weeks, classes will be finishing off projects, celebrating their hard work, and enjoying some well‑earned end‑of‑term activities. We hope the break ahead offers families a chance to rest, recharge, and spend time together.
Last week we joined the 147 other Sydney Catholic Schools in celebrating Catholic School’s Week. Each year we celebrate the importance of a Catholic education and are witness to what makes Our Lady of Fatima a special place to live and serve under Our Lady of Fatima’s protection. We welcomed over 100 prospective families, many of whom are hoping to have their children join us as Kindergarten students in 2027.
As we enter the last weeks in the season of Lent let us live out the words of Catherine MacAuley where she asks us to be “ shining lamps giving light to those around us”.
Come Holy Spirit, come,
open our minds to your wisdom and guidance,
and fill our hearts with the energy of your love.
Inspire all in our school community to find joy in God’s people.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen

.
