Harmony Week

World Harmony Day

World Harmony Day was first celebrated in Australia in 1999 to recognise and celebrate the country’s rich and diverse multicultural society. Held each year on March 21, the day promotes community harmony, inclusiveness, and a strong sense of belonging for everyone.

The colour orange is the official colour of World Harmony Day, symbolising harmony, respect, and social communication. It serves as a reminder that while our cultures and backgrounds may be different, we are all connected.

The message of World Harmony Day is simple yet powerful: “Everyone Belongs” and “Culture Connects Us
