FAITH MATTERS

MRS ALISON WRIGHT - DIRECTOR OF FAITH & MISSION

Congratulations to our Act for Peace Ration Challenge Participants!

We are incredibly proud of the students and staff who took part in this year’s Act for Peace Ration Challenge. By eating the same rations as a Syrian refugee for several days, our participants showed great courage, empathy and solidarity with those forced to flee their homes due to conflict and hardship.

Through their efforts, they not only raised awareness within our school community but also raised vital funds to support refugees with food, medicine and education. This was more than a challenge – it was a powerful act of compassion and justice.

Well done to all who took part! Your commitment to making a difference in the lives of others is truly inspiring.

End of Term 2 Prayer

As we come to the close of Term 2, we pause to give thanks for all that this term has been – for the learning, the challenges, the friendships, and the growth.

Loving God, Thank You for walking beside us each day. In moments of joy and in times of struggle, You have been our strength and our guide.

We give thanks for our students, for their curiosity, energy, and resilience. We give thanks for our teachers and staff, for their care, commitment, and creativity. We give thanks for our families, who support and encourage us in so many ways.

As we begin our holiday break, may it be a time of rest, renewal, and peace. Help us to return refreshed, ready to continue our journey with open hearts and minds.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus inspire us always to live with compassion, courage, and love.

Amen.

Jesus light of the world, guide us

St Joseph, journey with us

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, pray for us
