Athletics Victoria Shield League

Contested during the summer season, this year from October 2023 to March 2024, the Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) is Athletics Victoria’s summer track and field competition. With over 50 clubs and five AVSL divisions, clubs battle it out across ten rounds of AVSL to see who makes it to the AVSL Playoffs in March and, to decide promotion and relegation from each of the divisions.

We want to congratulate Abbey Reid for kicking off the season with a win in the 1500m Race and a personal best time of 4:47.15. We look forward to watching your progress this athletics season.

SSV State Athletics

Congratulations to all eight students who represented Girton at the SSV State Athletics Final held at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne. We had many outstanding results for the day, coming home with a total of five medals.
