Confirmation

Congratulations to the Year 6 students from our school and parish who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday evening. It was a joyful and meaningful celebration, with Bishop Tony Ireland and Fr John guiding the candidates through this important step in their faith journey. As part of their preparation, each child carefully researched and selected the name of a Saint whose life and story inspired them. This tradition is a powerful opportunity for reflection, as students choose someone whose values, actions or spirit they admire and aspire to. Whether it was a Saint known for courage, compassion, resilience or service, each choice reflected something deeply personal and hopeful. We are proud of the way our students approached this with such thought and maturity, and we thank their families and teachers for the guidance and support that helped make the evening so special.
