Community Update

A warm welcome to our Loreto community for 2025, with a special greeting to the new families joining us this year. We have an exciting year ahead as we celebrate 120 years of Loreto College Marryatville and 150 years of Loreto Australia and South East Asia. In many ways, 2025 is a year of community—an opportunity to reflect on our rich history while embracing the promising future ahead. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and hope you will join us at our upcoming events.

The highlight of this year’s celebrations will be the Acacias Ball, held on Saturday, April 5 at Adelaide Oval. We warmly invite current families, old scholars, past parents, and friends of the College, to join us for this special evening of nostalgia, reconnection, and entertainment. Guests will enjoy a night of fine dining, live and silent auctions, and exceptional live performances—all in honor of 120 years of excellence and tradition. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of history as we celebrate our remarkable journey and look ahead to the future. Tickets are limited, and early bird prices close on 28 February —secure your tickets by booking here and be part of what promises to be an unforgettable experience!

Our goal is to raise crucial funds for the much-needed restoration of The Acacias Building, a heritage-listed landmark deeply connected to our College’s history and legacy. We warmly invite you to contribute by donating an item, product, service, or voucher for our auction. Your generosity will play a vital role in preserving this iconic building while also offering your business valuable exposure to our broad school community. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. If you are able to donate, please reach out to Kate Woods at kate.woods@loreto.sa.edu.au—we would love to hear from you!

We are delighted to welcome Caruso and Co Legal and ANZ on as sponsors.A few exclusive sponsorship opportunities remain—an excellent chance to showcase your business and connect with our community. We invite you to consider joining us as a sponsor. Please contact me if you are interested: christnia.fabbian@loreto.sa.edu.au
