Dear St Joseph's Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the halfway mark of the term. Where has the year gone? It is certainly moving very quickly. The students have been busy in the classroom, learning new concepts, consolidating past concepts and showing a true enthusiasm and love for learning. It gives us great pleasure to visit the learning spaces and see students happy, smiling and engaged in their learning. We thoroughly enjoy asking students about their learning and hearing their responses.
As part of my Avila Leadership Studies, I recently had the opportunity to shadow the Principal at St Joseph’s Primary School in Tenterfield. This experience gave me valuable insights into the many aspects of school leadership — from supporting staff and students, to working alongside families, and leading a school community.
I am very grateful to the staff and students at St Joseph’s for making me feel so welcome, and I look forward to bringing the knowledge and experiences I gained back to our own community.
Wow! It is that time of the year when we say a massive thank you to all of our amazing father's. Father's Day is a celebration of fatherhood; a time for us to honour, celebrate and to be thankful for all of the men, father figures and male role models in our lives. We recognise the very important role you play in the lives of children, so thank you to all of the dads and father figures in our school community. We are looking forward to our Father's Day BBQ next Friday.
