Nominations will open!

Expressions of Interest to nominate for the 2026/2027 basketball season are now open! 

Nominations will close on 24 August 2026 and cost $15. 

Returning Griffins players and new Griffins EOI:

Players who previously played for Griffins, or are new and would like to play for Griffins, are invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to return for the upcoming season via the link below:

If you’re new to Albany, new to basketball, or looking for a club to play for, simply complete the attached EOI form. Please select your “Club Preference” or “No Preference” as your club, and the Albany Basketball Association will be in touch to help connect you with an affiliated club.

Griffins Hockey

Canteen Fundraiser

Saturday 29 August will be our major fundraising event of the season. 

What can you expect? Delicious sweet treats, bacon and egg breaky rolls, pulled pork and nachos, just to name a few!

Where? ALAC hockey club rooms. 

When? From 8.30am, dinners from 5.00pm. 

Who? Everyone welcome! Even if you’re driving past, please feel free to pop in and say hi!!

Griffins Merchandise and Uniforms

Players can order the Griffins training gear and supporter merchandise from the Griffins site Shop - Great Southern Griffins. A range of hoodies, tops, pants and accessories are available to buy. There are limited stocks of hoodies, but more will be added at the end of the month.

The club also has a Uniform Buy/Sell/Swap Facebook group for those looking to exchange Griffins items Great Southern Griffins Uniform Buy/Sell/Swap
