As we move further through the term, there continues to be a strong sense of pride evident across our college community. One of the greatest joys is walking through our classrooms and learning spaces each day and seeing students so deeply immersed in their learning, engaging with curiosity, enthusiasm and confidence.
Equally as special are the positive connections being formed between students and their peers, as well as the caring relationships that continue to grow between students and teachers. These relationships are the foundation of the strong culture we are continuously shaping and strengthening together at Good News Lutheran College.
This term has already provided many wonderful opportunities for our students and families to come together as a community. Our PY Learning Showcase was a fantastic celebration of learning and student voice. It was incredibly pleasing to see the outstanding support from our college families, who engaged so positively throughout the evening and helped make the event one to remember. The pride our students displayed when sharing their learning and achievements was truly special and highlighted the importance of partnership between home and school.
Students have also been provided with a range of valuable incursions and excursions throughout the term, allowing them to extend their learning beyond the classroom and engage in rich, real-world experiences. These opportunities continue to support student curiosity, strengthen understanding and create lasting memories alongside their peers and teachers.
We are also excited by the many opportunities our students continue to receive to showcase their talents, passions and skills. With interschool sports competitions coming up later this term, students will have the chance to represent the college with pride, teamwork and sportsmanship. These experiences play such an important role in building confidence, resilience and community spirit.
As always, we would like to sincerely thank our parents and families for the ongoing encouragement and support you provide to both your children and the college community. Your partnership, positivity and involvement continue to make a significant difference in the lives of our students and contribute greatly to the welcoming and thriving culture of GNLC.
