On the Job with Tye:

Great catching up with Tye during a recent workplace visit! Tye is doing really well in his School-Based Apprenticeship in Agriculture, showing a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great progress with his training. It’s fantastic to see him balancing school, work, and TAFE so effectively. A big thank you to Brodey and the team at Farley Farms for their ongoing support and guidance. Keep up the great work, Tye!

Great to see Lily making the most of her school holidays as part of the Head Start SBAT program.Lily has been working at Kerang District Health, gaining valuable hands-on experience and building her confidence in the workplace while supporting others in a meaningful role.Fantastic effort, Lily — keep up the great work!

Steph Making Progress in Health Over the Holidays: 

Steph has been continuing her placement at Kerang District Health throughout the school holidays, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the health sector. She is doing well balancing work and school, and has also attended her RTO, Murray ACE, as part of her training.  Steph is staying engaged in her role, working well with staff, and continuing to build her skills on the job. Great to see your ongoing effort and commitment Steph—well done!

Coco Thriving in Her School-Based Role: 

Coco has been doing a fantastic job in her role at Kerang District Health, gaining valuable experience in the Individual Support industry. 

She’s really enjoying the work and continues to show a positive attitude and strong commitment.Coco is building great relationships with her team, confidently stepping in to help wherever needed, and consistently going above and beyond in her role.

She has also been getting in extra hours over the school holidays, showing great initiative and dedication to her role. 

She has nearly completed her Certificate III in Individual Support, which is a fantastic achievement.Well done Coco—keep up the amazing work!

Henry Getting Stuck In Over the School Holidays:

Henry has been making the most of his school holidays, continuing his work at Koorangie Farms in the agriculture industry.

He’s really enjoying all aspects of the job and gaining valuable hands-on experience, especially working with livestock.

It’s great to see Henry showing initiative, building his skills, and staying engaged in his learning both on the job and through his training.

Well done Henry—keep up the great work!

Alli Stepping Up Over the Term 1 School Holidays: 

A big shoutout to Alli, who has been spending her school holidays on some shifts at Kerang District Health, continuing to grow her skills in her Individual Support role.

Allie is doing a fantastic job in the workplace, working confidently with staff and clients, and building her experience in a real care environment. 

She’s showing consistency, maturity, and a great attitude toward learning on the job.

Jack has been spending his school holidays working with Tilburn Welding, continuing to build his skills in the engineering industry. He’s really enjoying the work, getting hands-on experience, and developing his knowledge on the job while staying on top of his school and training commitments.

Campbell Getting Ready for Plumbing Career Path: 

Campbell has been spending some time over the school holidays continuing work with Matt Wilkinson Plumbing in Kerang, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the trade.

He is doing well balancing school and work, staying up to date with his studies, and building a solid understanding of workplace safety and expectations. 

Campbell is also preparing to commence his block TAFE training later this month, which will be an exciting next step in his learning.
