Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed at the Regional Athletics event on Friday 24th October at Casey Fields. Our athletes had some outstanding results!

Neve Cunnane – silver medal in shot put and through to states.

Armin Szmuda – gold medal in long jump and through to states.

12 year old boys relay team – Lachlan Davies, Tyler Vun, Armin Szmuda and Archie Thomas – silver medal and through to states.

Cameron Cunnane – bronze medal in shot put and 5th in discus.

Victoria Travers – 4th in High Jump.

We wish all of our state athletes all the best! What an incredible achievement.

HOT SHOT TENNIS

Congratulations to our grade 6 Hot Shots tennis team who competed at the Kingston Division event on Monday 27th October at Maccabi Tennis Club. The team convincingly defeated Our Lady of Assumption and then played against St Louis de Montfort in the final. They narrowly won 7 sets to 5. The team will now compete at the Regional event on Thursday 20th November at Pakenham Tennis Centre.

STATE SOCCER NEWS 

I’ve been in Ballarat for 6 days participating in the School Sports Australia National Championship. I was playing my favourite sport soccer, while representing Victoria and Valkstone. Even though the competition was tough, I had a lot of fun connecting with people who share the same passion for soccer.  The opening ceremony was crazy, but I was proud to represent Team Vic. I really enjoyed meeting new friends from other schools all over Australia and doing fun activities like visiting Sovereign Hill with my teammates.  It was a once in a lifetime learning experience, and I am very grateful to be part of it.
