What a joy it was to welcome our incoming 2026 Prep students to their first transition session recently! The morning was an outstanding success, and it was heartwarming to see how quickly our future students settled into their new environment.
The children took to 'big school' with enthusiasm and confidence, engaging wonderfully with the activities prepared in their classrooms. Their excitement and curiosity were evident throughout the session, and it was clear they're ready to embark on this important new chapter.
While our young learners were busy exploring their new surroundings, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet many new parents and reconnect with existing families. These conversations are invaluable in building the strong school-home partnerships that are so central to our school community.
We also held a second-hand uniform sale during the session, which proved to be a wonderful resource for both our incoming and current families. Thank you to everyone who contributed uniforms and to those who volunteered their time to make this initiative such a success.
I'm already looking forward to our next transition session this week and to welcoming these bright young faces officially in 2026!
Our second-hand uniform sales continue to be a valued resource within our school community, and we're calling on families to help keep it thriving.
If your children have outgrown their school uniforms, please consider donating clean, good-quality items to our second-hand uniform collection. Simply drop donations to the school office during regular hours.
Why donate?
Supporting families – Second-hand uniforms provide an affordable option for families, making quality school clothing accessible to everyone in our community. This is particularly helpful for families with multiple children or during those rapid growth spurts!
Better for our planet – By extending the life of uniforms through reuse, we're reducing textile waste and minimising our environmental footprint. It's a simple way our school community can contribute to a more sustainable future.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Thank you for helping us support our families and our environment!
