School Advisory Council

School Council Update

The School Advisory Council has a role to represent the parent community and advise the principal on non-curricular matters and support the school leadership team in its decision making processes. 

A main focus for the Council is to re-establish opportunities that increase social engagement to our already very special community at Holy Rosary. We are currently in the process of organising a calendar of events. We welcome any ideas that our community may have for events and welcome any interest to assist with these. We are also continuing to provide feedback to MACSEye to ensure consistent and high quality service delivery at Holy Rosary.

This year, we said farewell to Laura Cochrane who provided very valuable and long-standing support as chair and we have new council members: Silvia Violante, parent of Matthew, Lara Cram, parent of Percy, and Stan Exadactylos, parent of Jack, Polly and Leo. 

We also recently received the bittersweet news of our principal Christine Shaw finishing at Holy Rosary. On behalf of the school community, I want to sincerely thank Christine for all her hard work and dedication over her 9 years at Holy Rosary. Christine's warmth and compassionate leadership amongst staff, students is a legacy that will continue on.
