Roselea Athletics Carnival
On the 23rd of June, all Roselea students made their way to Barton Park for an exciting Athletics Carnival. This year was extra special, as we combined the K–2 and 3–6 carnivals into one big celebration! Students proudly wore their house colours and competed in a range of running races and field events throughout the day.
A huge congratulations to Cook, who were crowned the winning house of this year’s carnival! Cook students showed outstanding participation in races and also claimed victory in the highlight event—the house relays at the end of the day.
Our Year 6 students also held a sausage sizzle to raise money for their end-of-year gift. Thank you to all the students and parents who generously supported this initiative by purchasing a sausage or two. A special shout-out goes to the amazing parent helpers—Mr Kofod, Mr Hazon, and Mr and Mrs Griffiths—your time and effort were greatly appreciated by the Roselea staff members. We’re thrilled to share that the sausage sizzle raised approximately $800, a fantastic start toward our fundraising goal of $2000!
Thank you to all the parents who attended the carnival, the teachers for their dedication in supervising and judging events and the students for proudly representing Roselea.
