Introducing a few of our members:

My name is Liz, mum to Sophia in Grade 2 and Alexander who will be starting Prep in 2027. My husband Adrian and the dog, Rosie, round out the family.

I joined the SAC as a way of giving back and contributing to the St Luke’s community.

My hope for our school is to continue to cultivate an environment where every child feels happy and safe, and all families feel welcome.

My name is Lisa, and I am a secondary teacher and parent to Mia in Year 10 at Emmaus and Hudson in Year 6. This is the third year our family has been part of the school community, and we have greatly valued the support for Hudson’s learning and growth. Most weekends, you will find me supporting our family’s lacrosse endeavours on the sidelines.

I joined the School Advisory Council because I am passionate about contributing to a strong partnership between families and the school. I am particularly committed to supporting initiatives that promote inclusion, student wellbeing, and a sense of belonging for all members of our community.

My hope for St Luke the Evangelist is that it continues to nurture each child’s faith, confidence, and unique strengths. I wish for a community where every student feels included, valued, and supported to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

My name is Victoria and my husband and I have two sons at St Luke's, Hamish in year 6 and Dylan in year 4.  I joined the SAC because I was interested in understanding more about how the school operates and because it provides a valuable opportunity to provide feedback on issues that impact St Luke's and shape the experience my sons have at school.  I learn something new every meeting and it has been so rewarding to see the topics we have discussed be actioned (e.g. repainting the car park, regular application of suncream).  I will really miss being on SAC when I step down at the end of the year.  My hope for St Luke's is that it continues to listen to the feedback of parents to ensure that it is a welcoming place that supports all children to have a safe, happy and engaging time at school.

Introducing our...

It is lots of fun working with this bunch of people to organise social events, fundraising activities and opportunities to spoil the children with morning tea (like Harmony Day of Joy in a couple of weeks) or lunches.

Dani Fusca (Illaria in Year3 and Stella in Yr 1) is this year's Chairperson

Why not think about joining us? Together we can achieve so much.
