Who's Who in Leadership...

My name is Gabrielle Carter. I joined the St Luke’s community in 2023, having already taught in different schools across Melbourne. After having our second child, my family and I moved to Malaysia and Singapore for a number of years, experiencing the adventure of new countries and cultures. I enjoy creative pursuits and spending time with family and friends.

When l am not teaching in the Senior School, l am Student Wellbeing Leader here at St Luke's. This year, this has broadened to include the Resilient, Rightful, Respectful Relationships program (RRRR) and Mental Health in Primary School (MHiPS) leadership. I work with the SRC children, oversee our school assemblies each Monday afternoon and work closely with our Learning Diversity Leader, Emily. It's a full and engaging role that plays an important role in every child's growth as a whole person.

Catholic Education Week ~ Getting Ready to Learn Invitation (16–20 March)

YOU are invited...

To celebrate Catholic Education Week, we warmly invite parents, carers and grandparents to join us in our classrooms for our daily Getting Ready to Learn routine from Monday 16th to Friday 20th March.

This routine is a special part of our day. Over 10 minutes, students gather in a circle to greet one another, participate in a short game (positive primer), hear any special announcements and look ahead to the day’s learning before sharing prayer and meditation. It is a gentle, grounding way to begin together as a class.

Music will begin playing three minutes before 8:50am. Please be in the classroom and ready to begin at 8:50am sharp, so we can start promptly.

We would truly love to welcome you into this beautiful daily ritual and share this time of connection with you.

We hope to see you there!
