and Mission...

LENT:
Lent began on Ash Wednesday - a 40 day season of reflection as we journey toward Easter.
During Lent, we are invited to:
- Pray: Spend a few quiet moments each day talking and listening to God.
- Fast: Give up something small to create space in our hearts.
- Give: Think of others and act with generosity.
Altar Servers
We are currently looking for older students who may be interested in
becoming altar servers at St Luke’s.
The only requirements are that students have received the
Sacrament of Baptism and have made their First Eucharist.
Altar serving is a beautiful way for our children to be more deeply
involved in the life of the Church. Students are able to serve at school
Masses and weekend parish Masses.
If this is something your child may be interested in, we encourage you to have a conversation with them.
A letter with further information will be sent home shortly.
Project Compassion
Each family received a Project Compassion box on Ash Wednesday. This is a beautiful way for our children to live out prayer, fasting and giving in a practical way.
You might consider:
- Hosting a simple afternoon tea and donating what you would have spent.
- Walking or riding laps as a family and sponsoring one another.
- Giving up takeaway or a treat and placing the money in the box.
- Creating a small act of service or fundraiser with extended family.
Every small act makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting our school and wider community as we grow as Companions on the Journey this Lent.
SACRAMENTAL COMMITMENT MASSES... will be:
- held over two weekends
- ALL candidates and families are to attend just one mass over the two weekends
Times for mass:
