1 Day Face to Face Peaceful Parents Facilitator Training followed by self-paced component

Communities for Children Frankston is hosting this training by Wellbeing for Kids which will equip participants to deliver ‘Peaceful Parents’

'Peaceful Parents' is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based parenting program to increase resilience in both parents and their children. In this engaging program, parents learn strategies to lessen stress, enjoy parenting more as well as learning practical strategies to regulate emotions. As part of the training, you will receive a hard copy facilitator manual and extensive online resources.

Once participants have completed Peaceful Kids and Peaceful Parents this makes up 2 of the three modules that professionals need to gain the Certificate in Mindfulness & Wellbeing for Children which is a recognized certificate.

After the face-to-face workshop, you will need an additional 6 hours of time to complete the self-paced course component.

Please note: A pre-requisite of attending Peaceful Parents Facilitator Training is having completed or able to complete Peaceful Kids Facilitator Training. Refer to the EOI for more information.
