Performing Arts at St John's

Performing Arts News
On Thursday, 16 October, our students took part in an incursion with the amazing Dean, from Dance Curriculum. They spent 40 minutes learning a dance routine to perform in front of our school community. It was amazing to see the engagement and excitement of all of our students, where everyone gave it a go and had a bit of fun while doing it! What a great way to start our term and inspire the students as we begin to prepare for our Christmas Concert in the coming weeks.
Student feedback from our Dance Incursion:
“I loved Dean’s energy”
“I loved watching him dance”
“It was fun learning a dance with the whole level”
“I liked it because he got everyone involved and made it very enjoyable”

Finally, make sure you save the date for our School Christmas Concert on Thursday, 4 December, where all of our students will sing and dance to our favourite Christmas songs and traditional carols. Our wonderful Preps will perform a play of the true story of Christmas in the annual nativity play on the night of the concert.
