Principal's Message

A great deal has been happening across the school community, with many positive milestones reached and much to look forward to.
Senior students have now completed exams and the GAT, and Semester 2 is well underway for all. It is my hope that the learning gained through exam feedback will encourage every student to reflect, grow and strive to achieve their personal best.
We are also very excited that our new canteen will be operational from the beginning of Term 3. Families will have received a separate communication outlining that mobile phones will no longer be permitted at the canteen. I appreciate that this may require some adjustment, and I thank families in advance for making alternative arrangements. This change is an important step in ensuring our practices align with government expectations around student safety, particularly in relation to mobile phone use.
On 9 July 2026, the Brigidine Sisters will celebrate 140 years of their presence in Australia. Fittingly, they have chosen Bishop Daniel Delany’s Feast Day to mark this significant milestone. The Brigidine Sisters have played a profound role in shaping Catholic education and social outreach across Australia, and we acknowledge with gratitude the legacy of these strong, courageous, and visionary women whose work continues to make a meaningful difference today.
As Term 2 draws to a close, I know that both staff and students are looking forward to a well-earned break - an opportunity to rest, refresh and recharge. May the weeks ahead be filled with rest, connection, and moments of joy, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for a productive and positive Term 3.
