PE & Sports Update 

Running Club

Every Tuesday morning at 8:30am, Running Club takes over the parklands or Gym (wet weather) for some fun games, activities and running drills. 

It’s a great way for students to be active, connect with peers and build some resilience and determination. Check in opens at 8:25 (see Mr Jenkins when you arrive), and activities get under way with our House Captains leading a warm up and straight into some high energy and fun games. 

We are averaging around 70 students each session (Level 1 to level 6) and in Term 3 & 4 we will start to introduce our Foundation students as well.

Keep an eye out over the coming weeks as some very regular students start to collect certificates for attending 40 running clubs.

 

Fitness Training

Starting on Tuesday at lunch time in the gym, our JP Racing team is participating in a 20min HIIT training session. This is part of their fitness program along with the rider training and their own fitness training. 

Any child from Level 4,5 or 6 is welcome to join them.
