Principal's Message

St Luke's... "nurturing faith filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world."

Dear Parents and Carers ,

As we approach the joyous season of Christmas, I take this opportunity to reflect on the blessings of this year and extend my gratitude to each of you, students, parents and carers for your contribution to our community.

This year, the strength of our partnership between school, parents, and children has shone brightly. Your unwavering support for your children, their learning, and our school community has been a vital part of what makes St Luke’s a truly special place.

On a personal note, I want to express my deepest thanks for the care, prayers, and encouragement I received during my time away earlier this year due to a serious illness. Your messages of support and understanding meant so much to me and to my family during that challenging period. I am truly grateful to be back, surrounded by such a compassionate and faith-filled community.

I also acknowledge the challenges faced by Mrs Julianne Rook, our Head of School K-4, who has been on leave this term and will continue to be off next term. Please keep Julianne in your prayers as she navigates her own health journey. During this time, Nicole Emerton will continue to lead in her place, and we are grateful to have Mr Scott Carroll stepping in to support Nicole’s role as Assistant Principal.

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, may we remember the peace, hope, and love that His presence brings into our lives. I pray that your Christmas season is filled with moments of joy, reflection, and the company of loved ones.

On behalf of the entire staff at St Luke’s, I wish you a blessed Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back in the new year as we continue this incredible journey of learning and faith together.
