School Production

Congratulations to each and every student who took part in our whole school production this week. The evening was a wonderful celebration of your hard work, creativity and your passion for performing! I was so impressed with how you rehearsed during the day, listening carefully to the instructions and showing our school values at the venue. 

The cast were phenomenal! Even though there were tiny hiccups along the way, you used every scene as a learning opportunity to listen and do better. It warmed my heart to watch you shine your brightest, help your scene partners, and carry the story for the audience! The feedback for your acting has been so positive! I hope you could hear all the laughs and cheers and soaked up all the love in the room. 

We have the best staff at Highvale Primary School! We all rallied together to help the students feel supported and successful in their learning. We have to remember that this whole process has been a learning experience for the kids. The goal was never perfection, but for a positive learning experience. We told them from the beginning that if you forget a line or miss a cue, the show will go on. We can learn from the mistake for next time. Thanks to each teacher who practised with their class and supported the event. The kids couldn't have done this without you.

Thank you to each person who came to support, bought a recipe book or programme, and shared in our joy as we presented the show. It has truly been a joy working with your children to create this memorable event! Orders for the video recording are on Compass now, so don't miss out!
