Oceanic Track and Field Carnival
A huge congratulations to all of our Oceanic Track & Field athletes who competed with pride, sportsmanship, resilience and determination. It was fantastic to see our students encouraging one another, supporting their teammates and giving their very best throughout the competition.
We are especially proud of Skylah (1st), Nalini (2nd) and Alijah (1st), who did extremely well in their events and have qualified to represent the Oceanic district at the South Coast Carnival next week. Good luck!!
Their achievements are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, commitment and positive attitude they have shown throughout their preparation. We wish them all the very best next week and look forward to cheering them on!
Well done, Oceanic athletes, you represented our school brilliantly!
Palm Beach Classic Surf Competition
This week 8 of our top surfers competed in the Palm Beach Classic surf comp against some of our local schools. The event was the third comp for the year, and our students did really well representing Tally. All of our surfers showed amazing determination and resilience competing against the other schools. A massive congratulations to Zaylah and Willis for both taking out runner up in their divisions. A huge thank you to all the parents for not only getting their students to the event but for their ongoing support throughout the day.

The main goal of our Gala Day is to provide our students opportunities to be involved in team based games with an introduction to competition. The Year 3 students will be playing in their netball/end ball carnival, and the Year 4 students will be playing their touch tournament.
Touch Football Academy (Year 3 - 6)
Our touch football academy training is underway, and our students are doing well getting stuck into their drills and skills. Over the coming weeks we will select our 4 sides for the upcoming Allschools Touch tournament next term.
Rugby League Academy (Year 3 - 6)
Starting in week 4, students will train on Thursday mornings. Students will focus on developing skills along with building knowledge in strategy, critical thinking and building emotional and mental resilience through training.
