Production Update – We’re Nearly Ready!

Whole School Dress Rehearsal

What a fantastic week for our production! Our full rehearsal in costumes went incredibly well, and it was so exciting to see everything starting to come together. The students looked amazing, and we are now feeling very excited as we get closer to performance week!

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and parents who have helped with sourcing, fitting, sewing, decorating and providing costumes. The amount of time, creativity and effort that has gone into getting everyone performance-ready has been amazing, and it certainly showed during our rehearsal. Thank you for going above and beyond to help bring the production to life!

With the school holidays coming up, please encourage your child to practise their lines, dances and songs whenever you get the chance. For some students, this week was their last scheduled rehearsal before the performances, so keeping things fresh over the holidays will be really helpful.

🎭 School Holiday Workshop

A reminder for our Lead Cast and Understudies that we are holding a special rehearsal workshop on Wednesday 30 September. Please complete the Google Form if your child will be attending so we can plan accordingly. Pizza and hot chips will be provided for lunch.

💄 Hair & Make-Up Information

Information about hair and make-up for the performances will be coming soon to our parent information page. We will provide all the details you need, including what students will need to bring or have ready before performance day.

📣 Backstage Volunteers Needed

Can you help backstage during our rehearsals and performances? We’d love to have some extra helping hands to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes!

Please note: All volunteers must have completed the required Volunteer Compliance before assisting backstage. More information will be sent via Class DOJO soon! 

🚚 Vehicle Needed to Transport Sets

We are looking for a vehicle and driver to help transport our production sets to and from the theatre.

📅 Monday 12 October – 6:00amSets to be transported to the theatre.

📅 Tuesday 13 October – 10:30pmSets to be transported back to school following the performance.

If you have access to a suitable vehicle and are available to assist with either of these trips, we would love to hear from you! Your help would be greatly appreciated in getting our sets safely to and from the theatre: svulling@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au
