Inglewood Alive
This year’s Inglewood Alive event was a fantastic celebration of our community, and we were proud to have St Mary’s well represented. We were fortunate to have some wonderful support from our parents, who helped make the day such a success. Our baked potatoes sold out by 1:00 pm, and together we raised valuable funds for our school close to $1000 profits. The students were a real standout, confidently engaging with members of the public to share information about our EBT vehicle and the upcoming competition.
The school stall was professionally presented, featuring a TV display running school video promotions and a collection of photos showcasing life at St Mary’s. These events take a great deal of planning and organisation, and we’re very grateful to the staff and parents who gave their time and energy to make it possible.
As we reflect on this year’s experience, we recognise that staff were heavily involved in both the preparation and running of the stall, which has traditionally been a parent-led activity. We will need to revisit our approach for 2026 to ensure the event remains sustainable and continues to be a true community partnership.
