Deb Ball thank you

A huge thank you to the team who organised the 2025 St Joseph’s Deb Ball. Bringing an event of this scale together is no small task, and with the support of so many families and friends, it was a wonderful success. Whether you helped with planning, decorating, catering, or gave your time in any way, your contribution made a real difference to our students and their learning.

The Deb Ball is not only a much-loved event on the Rochester community calendar but also serves as a major fundraiser for St Joseph’s every three years.

Navigating the Digital World

Last night, I had the privilege of attending the AGM of the Elmore, Lockington, Rochester Community Bank. We are grateful to have received a grant to continue our partnership with Inform & Empower – Navigating the Digital World. This valuable program will extend into 2026, supporting students at both St Joseph’s Primary School and Rochester Primary School.

Wellbeing Week - Wellbeing Wears Many Outfits

As part of Wellbeing Week, we got creative and dressed up to celebrate the many ways we can look after ourselves and each other. Outfits represented what makes us feel good — for some it was bright colours, comfy clothes, sports gear, a favourite character, or something that shows kindness, fun, or teamwork. Students were bold, playful, and most importantly, themselvesThere was no “right” way to dress up — because wellbeing wears many outfits. 🌟

End of Year dates

 - Community Night: End of Year celebration: Thursday 11th December

 -Grade 6 BIG DAY OUT & Graduation: Monday 15th December

 - Final Mass and Assembly: Tuesday 16th December @ 11.45am

World Teachers Day - Friday 31st October

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and passionate team of teachers at St Joseph’s. Their commitment to supporting every child’s learning journey, while balancing the many demands of work and life, is truly admirable. We thank them for their ongoing care, effort, and the difference they make every day.
