Disco Sleep Over!

We had our disco and sleepover. We had a dance off and two people had a competition to dance. There was confetti and balloons and disco lights. Thanks to Narelle and the Benhim family for supplying the lights. We did freeze dance and danced to our playlist where our class picked the songs. We ate nuggets, party pies and sausages. After the Foundation kids went home we changed into our PJ's and watched the movie trolls. Madame Lee and Mrs Smith were the only teachers. We had hot chocolate and biscuits. In the morning, we had pancakes. I liked that there were other grade ones at the sleepover.

Bike Ed

Off we went to BikeSkills in Bentleigh on Monday. After a long bus ride through traffic, we made it and got started. Everyone found themselves a helmet and was assigned a bike. From there it was go, go go! From traffic lights, to road signs, to jumps, to tunnels, everyone had an incredible time. Plenty more skills learnt, and much fun had. Well done everyone!

For Halloween, Newham Primary went all out and put so much effort into getting dressed up. Thank you to those students who gave up many lunches time to make our school extra scary and by decorating the school.
