This is such a fun event!  Our Early Years Sports Day ran beautifully!

Games and activities created and run by the Year 6 students were thoroughly enjoyed by all Kinder, Prep, and Year 1 and Year 2 Students. The sun was shining, and students were having a blast. Well done to all involved for putting in the extra effort that makes these days run so smoothly!

Students got to hike the wonderland loop and reach the Pinnacle. Amazing effort from all.

Rock climbing was a highlight!

Visit to Aged Care

The College’s Senior Senate and Christian Life Team have had a proud custom of visiting the St Vincent’s Care Residential Facility in Eltham for a number of years.  It started off as a venture that aimed to connect our student leaders to a segment of the broader community so that they could share their time and attention with elderly folk who live in this facility.  Over the years, these visits have become more and more appreciated by the staff and residents of St Vincent’s Care, as our student leaders lived out the College value to build community.

The newly minted 2026 Senior School student leadership group continued this custom this week when they visited St Vincent’s Care to sing some Christmas Carols and to share some Christmas blessings with the residents.  The staff and residents were eagerly awaiting the team and warmly welcomed everyone upon arrival.  It was heartening to see those elderly residents who could join with the students, singing with passion and smiles on their faces, as our students led the carol singing.  The team also shared Scripture readings and a Christmas story written by one of the students, with an appreciative audience during the team’s time at St Vincent’s Care. But what seemed to really highlight the value of this visit was watching our students giving out Christmas cards and then spending some time with the residents.  Generation gaps dissolved as young and old hearts came together, brought together by a love of Christ.

The residents were so appreciative of being able to spend some precious moments with young people who were caring and loving in their approach.  Each and everyone of the students who participated in the visit did their families and our college proud with the way they conducted themselves, and our hope is that the love shared with the residents today points them towards the source of this love – our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
