Mr Beilken
Welcome to another edition of the Marangaroo Primary School newsletter. As we move further through the term, it continues to be wonderful to see the learning, engagement, and positive relationships taking place across our school each day. Our students have been working hard in classrooms, on the playground, and through a range of school events and activities that continue to strengthen our school community.
School Closure Dates for Reporting
On Friday 12 June, the school will be closed to students as we conduct Parent/Teacher Interviews for Semester 1 reporting. These meetings provide an important opportunity for parents and carers to meet with teachers to discuss their child’s academic progress, achievements, and goals for the remainder of the year. With recent changes to the reporting format resulting in less detailed written comments on student reports, these conversations will play an even more valuable role in supporting communication between home and school.
As mentioned at last Friday’s assembly, we have been in communication with Kids Academy regarding the possibility of providing an Out of School Hours Care service on this day for families who require it. For the service to proceed, a minimum of five children must be enrolled and booked into care. To enrol for this service for Friday 12 June, please email OSHC Manager (MPS) marangaroooshc@kids-academy.com.au indicating in the email that you wish to book for June 12. Please send your request email through no later than Friday 5 June to ensure that the service can be provided and that you can secure a placement.
We will be using Microsoft Bookings to allow families to schedule interview times with teachers on 12 June. Bookings are essential and best organised early, as no additional time can be allocated outside of the available timeslots.
