Upsize It!

8D Art 

In Term 1, 8D took part in an exciting sculpture unit titled Upsize It! Students explored the creative process through the four stages of design — Explore, Develop, Create and Present — transforming everyday objects into larger-than-life sculptures bursting with imagination and creativity.

Our previous newsletter featured the incredible work produced throughout the project, and after much discussion and deliberation, our top three winning sculptures have now been selected! We are thrilled to announce the winners:

 First Place – Bucket of Chips by Seth, Mitch and Chris

 Second Place– Makeup in a Bag by Georgia, Sienna, Elise, Shannon and Stefanie

 Third Place– Hot Chocolate with Giant Marshmallow by Scarlett, Chloe and Vivienne

A huge congratulations to all students involved for their creativity, teamwork and dedication throughout the project. The talent and effort displayed in each sculpture was truly outstanding!
