This week, it’s been wonderful spending time listening to our students share the many things they love about our school. From learning experiences in the classroom to time spent with friends on the playground, it has been lovely to hear their excitement, joy and appreciation for our school community. Here are a few special mentions from this week:

Congratulations to Hitaksh and Jorden and their families who recently received their Australian Citizenship.

Now in its 27th year, National Walk Safely to School Day encourages primary school children, their parents and carers to walk safely and regularly to school. Walking every day builds confidence, improves concentration and establishes healthy habits for life - while making our roads safer and our air cleaner for everyone. Research shows that children who are active before school are more focused, more productive and perform better in the classroom.

If your child would like to participate in the colouring activity above, they are more than welcome to print it off or collect one from the office and return it to Mrs Scully before next Friday.
We are excited to launch the IT Inquiry Club starting next week! This break-time initiative offers students a creative space to explore emerging technologies, solve real-world problems, and take lead on school projects. We will use our time together to Learn to navigate Artificial Intelligence safely and responsibly, build digital showcases for school events and to support the promotion of upcoming school, parish and community events. In line with our Living Well, Learning Well framework, this club is all about fostering a sense of belonging. It will provide a calm, inclusive environment where students in Year 4-6 have a genuine voice in their learning. We look forward to seeing our future innovators on Monday at second break.
