Tickets on sale - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Senior School Production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which will be staged in Term 2 from 22 to 24 May.

This adaptation is based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, and pays homage to the 1971 film with songs including 'The Candy Man', 'I’ve Got a Golden Ticket' and 'Pure Imagination'.

Tickets will sell quickly, so book now to avoid missing out on a fantastic night of music, dance and chocolate!

Save the date - Junior School Winter Concert!

We're excited to invite you to our Winter Concert, a special evening that showcases the talents of our entry-level ensemble groups in a warm and supportive environment.

Performing groups include: Intermezzo Suzuki Strings, Klefs Choir, Years 1 and 2 Choir (all students in Years 1 and 2), Junior Strings, Kadenza Intermediate Concert Band, Junior Guitar ensemble, Flute ensemble and soloists.

Friday Afternoon Soirees - Term 2

We're pleased to offer two Friday afternoon Soirées in Term 2—an excellent opportunity for students to develop their performance confidence in a relaxed, supportive setting.

These informal concerts are a great way for students to share their musical progress and gain valuable experience performing in front of an audience.

Lesson scheduling and assessments – Term 2

Families should now have received their child’s Term 2 timetable for Music or Speech and Drama lessons.

A friendly reminder to please encourage your child to check their schedule in advance for any potential clashes with in-class assessments. If a conflict is identified, it’s important that students notify their Music or Drama teacher as early as possible.

Please note that if prior notice is not given, it may not be possible to reschedule the lesson on the day. Thank you for your support in helping us manage timetables smoothly!

Australian Youth Band Open Day - 10 May

The Australian Youth Band (AYB) is excited to welcome young musicians to their upcoming Open Day. This event also offers students the chance to explore the possibility of joining AYB’s 2025 international tour to Thailand.

VCE Conservatorium Experience Day - 3 June

On 3 June, the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) invites students to spend a day at the Conservatorium, where they will have the chance to experience pieces from the VCE Syllabus performed by Conservatorium teaching staff. They'll also be able to participate in repertoire, jazz and contemporary masterclasses.
