Welcome to Grade 6 

Welcome to your child’s final year of primary school. This is a wonderful year for your child – building leadership qualities and undertaking a deeper investigation into themselves as learners and leaders. Thank you for joining us at our Parent-Child-Teacher conversations. It has been so insightful and informative getting to know each child through a parent’s lens and beginning this important partnership between home and school.

It was wonderful to see your child, at the blessing of their badges, make a commitment to lead our school and to take on this role with a heart of service. Your child will be given many opportunities to act as role models and demonstrate our school values of Respect, Resilience and Safety through their words and actions at school, home and in the community.

To inspire and support your child as they develop their leadership skills, we have organised for them to participate in an interactive Kids Helpline session, Unlocking Your Inner Leader, where they will find out strengths and qualities of leaders and explore how to develop their own leadership qualities.

We are looking forward to working collaboratively and maintaining a close partnership with you.
