Term Three Mini Vinnie’s Food Drive
Last term our Year Six Mini Vinnie’s representatives led a very successful food drive for our Parish St Vincent de Paul group. The students are to be applauded for the effort they gave and we thank, as always, our families who provide such generous support to all our fundraising activities. Without your generosity our students and our local community would not be able to experience the positive impact first hand that Catholic Social Teaching can have. Thank you to the following Year 6 students:
Pavana, Hannah, Scarlett, Andreas, Reena, Fred, Zadkyle, Rory, Thomas, Michael, Naethan, Sofia, Cornelius, Martina, Eddie, Alyssa and Florence.
St Agatha’s School Choir
Term Four is a busy time in the school calendar and this is most evident in the events upcoming for our school choir. We were fortunate to welcome 48 students to our first rehearsal in Week One of this term, supported by our dedicated conductor Natalie Lezhenko.
The commitment given by these students to the school choir means devoting every Wednesday recess to practice. As we get closer to the end of the year, this commitment will increase to Tuesday and Wednesday as we put the finishing touches to our performances.
Below is a list of the upcoming events this term:
- Tuesday 2 December - Carols in the Church at 5.00 pm
- Wednesday 3 December - Christmas Carol visit to local nursing homes
- Wednesday 10 December - Opening and Blessing of new classrooms
- Thursday 11 December - Graduation Mass at 6.30pm
- Friday 12 December - Whole School End of Year Mass at 2.00pm
