Legacy of Love
Who will I be?
Tim Argall, Executive Principal
In our own reflections of our times at DCC in the years to come, how will I think of my time at the school?
How will I reflect on my own actions, as acts that pass on the truth of God’s love to others?
How will others perceive those actions?
Will they be small and of little consequence?
Or will they be significant, making a deeply felt difference in the lives of those who received those acts?
Will my actions tell a story of love?
Will my actions reflect the truth of God’s love - as He extends it to us? And how will they know this?
What happens if it goes unnoticed?
Will I be comfortable to trust God, in His eternal goodness, that my actions of love will be seen as a blessing sometime in the future, not of my knowing?
Do I remember that the call to love others is because God first loved me?
Before I was even here?
For a time longer than I will ever be here?
And what can I do now, to make sure that God’s love is always evident in all I do in our community?
Shalom.
