2024 HSC Rules and Procedures Guide

This week I will address Year 11 regarding the official NESA booklet titled, 2024 Higher School Certificate Rules and Procedures, a guide specifically written and published by NESA for next year’s HSC candidates.

It is expected that all students would thoroughly familiarise themselves with all the information contained in the booklet to plan and prepare for the rigours and demands of the HSC. I would also urge parents/carers to read this information with their sons.

The information presented in the booklet focuses on the rules associated with procedural matters governing the HSC, particularly assessment and examinations, such as conduct, malpractice, illness/misadventure, etc., and compliments the College’s HSC Assessment Handbook issued to Year 11 at the start of Term 4.

It is important to maintain the rules and procedures booklet in a secure and accessible spot for easy reference.

It is also important to note that students will confirm they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the HSC rules and procedures when they sign their HSC Confirmation of Entry form from NESA early in first term next year.

In the event the NESA booklet is lost or misplaced, it may be downloaded from the NESA website at: 2024 Rules and Procedures guide | NSW Education Standards
