Welcome back to 2026!
We hope you all had a fantastic festive period with your family and friends.
For those who may not know me, I’m Jeremy (Jez), your P&F (Parents & Friends) Leader for 2026. I have a daughter Paige in Year 3 and a son London who started Prep last week.
I’m very excited to welcome back Mel to our P&F leadership team. Mel did an amazing job last year and will once again serve as our Treasurer. Mel has a daughter Olivia in Year 3 and a son Spencer in Year 1.
I’m also thrilled to welcome Bec to the team as our Secretary. Bec has a son Boyd in Year 3 and we’re really looking forward to the energy, organisation and support she’ll bring to the leadership team.
We’re excited for all the events we have planned for 2026 to bring our school community together and help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere for all our children.
A huge thank you to all the parents who have put their hand up to be classroom representatives this year. It’s fantastic to have these roles locked in so early and the P&F leadership team looks forward to working closely with you all.
It was also wonderful to see so many members of our school community at last Friday’s ‘Welcome Back’ sausage sizzle. With such beautiful weather, it was a perfect way to kick off the year.
Upcoming Events
P&F Welcome Drinks
Our first social event for the year will be the P&F Welcome Drinks, held at Wonderland, Chapel St, on Friday 20th February at 7pm.
This is a non-fundraising event and is a great opportunity for parents to connect and enjoy a relaxed night together. The ticket cost covers venue hire, a welcome drink on arrival, and light refreshments.

Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Tuesday)
We’re looking forward to celebrating Shrove Tuesday on the 17th February, with a special Pancake Morning for our students. It’s always a fun and much-loved event, giving our kids the chance to enjoy fresh pancakes.
This morning wouldn’t be possible without the support of our awesome parent volunteers. If you’re able to lend a hand cooking, serving, or helping with setup and pack-up, we’d love your support. Your class reps will be in touch shortly with further details
Uniform Shop
The uniform shop has already opened a few times this year and class reps will continue to share upcoming dates. If you ever need something urgently, please reach out to your class rep for assistance.
Fundraising & Community Activities
Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting a range of events, raffles and community activities to bring everyone together while raising funds for the school. Last year’s fundraising contributed to a large collection of new library books and interactive panels in classrooms. This year, funds raised will go towards interactive panels for the specialist rooms, which missed out last year.
It’s shaping up to be another great year filled with fun, connection and community spirit. If you see Mel, Bec or myself around the school, please don’t be shy, come and say hello!
