Year 11 VET Sport and Rec - Lawn Bowls 

On Friday 15th August, our Year 11 VET Sport & Recreation students had the fantastic opportunity to spend the morning at the Torquay Bowls Club.

Guided by generous local community members, students were introduced to the skills and techniques of lawn bowls. The coaches were thrilled to share their expertise and warmly welcomed our students.

Our students represented the school with pride, showing outstanding active listening, engagement, and respect throughout the session.

A huge thank you to the Torquay Bowls Club for generously volunteering their time to help develop the skills of the next generation. It was a great morning out, and a wonderful example of community connection in action!

Year 12 VET Sport & Rec - Bounce 

On 20th August, our Year 12 VET Sport & Recreation class visited Bounce Inc. as part of their studies on risk assessment and hazard control. Students identified potential risks, evaluated safety measures, and observed how staff manage a dynamic recreational environment. 

They also had a great time bouncing around and putting theory into practice in a fun, active setting!

Year 11 & 12 Outdoor Ed - Rock Climbing

Our Year 11 and 12 Outdoor Education students recently took on the challenge of a rock climbing excursion, showing awesome teamwork, resilience, and determination throughout the day. 

Whether scaling walls or supporting their peers from the ground, students pushed their limits and built confidence in a supportive, outdoor setting. A great day of physical challenge and personal growth!
