High jump and triple jump have already been completed at school before the event and the results have been recorded. The vortex throw is an additional event this year. Circular team relays are run at the end of the day for selected students in years 3-6.

All students who are running in the 800m event are to arrive at the Miners Rest Primary School Gym at 8:10am where they will have their name marked off and travel on the bus to Llanberris.

All other students will arrive at school at the normal time of 8:45am.

Dismissal -  Students will be dismissed at the end of the presentations. Parents/Carers need to see their child/s classroom teacher to have their name marked off the roll.

Year Level Champions (2 per year level, a boy and a girl) are determined by utilising a standardised scoring system for each individual event:

This year an additional point will be awarded to the outright age winner of any field event and track final.

If students are tied on points –

Secondly – a countback is conducted based on the number of 3’s they have achieved

If students are tied on 3’s

Thirdly – a countback is conducted on the number of first places they have achieved in field and running events

Canteen – The canteen will be open on the day. Students are not permitted to go to the canteen. Food or drink must be delivered to students by Parents/Carers.

In the case of inclement weather on any of the aforementioned days a decision and subsequent notifications will be made on Sentral. Please avoid calling the school office as no news will mean good news.
