End of Day Tennis Court Access Reminder
A friendly reminder that the top gates will open at 3:00 pm each day to provide access to the tennis courts for parking. To help maintain safe and smooth traffic flow in the carpark, we kindly ask that you do not queue in front of the gates before this time. If you arrive early, please park in a designated car space rather than stopping in the thoroughfare. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Parking Reminder
Just a reminder for school families to not park in the designated church parks at the front of the church please. These need to be left free for church staff and visitors and for SPLASH staff. Thank you for your understanding.
eSafety Commissioner - Webinars for Parents and Carers
You are invited to join one of the free webinars for parents and carers provided on the e-safety Commissioner website (Webinars for parents and carers | eSafety Commissioner) These live webinars give parents and carers the knowledge, skills and tools to support their children to have safer online experiences. Webinars coming up include:
The trust trap: navigating friendships, pressure and manipulation online
Children and young people experience subtle forms of online manipulation that can shape their friendships, identity and wellbeing. Behaviours like exclusion, controlling dynamics, and emotionally loaded 'just joking' interactions are common and may be difficult to spot. This webinar unpacks online manipulative behaviours and harmful friendships dynamics.
This 45-minute webinar is also designed for parents and carers to watch alongside young people (13+), supporting a shared understanding of these behaviours and encouraging meaningful conversations at home.
In this webinar for parents, carers and young people:
- Learn the common signs of online manipulation and understand the challenges young people face with friendships online.
- Understand the common harmful friendship dynamics and why young people may feel trapped, responsible or unable to set boundaries.
- Gain simple, practical strategies to start supportive conversations to help set healthy online boundaries and feel safer navigating digital friendships.
Suitable for parents and carers of young people 13+ in secondary school.
