YEAR 9 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 1

Welcome back to Term 2. I hope that all students and families enjoyed a restorative break and are ready for Term 2! 

Camp

Thank you to all the parents who have completed the parent slip for camp. All this information has now been shared with Tinaroo Education Centre. We are now looking forward to a fun, activity-filled camp in Week 4. Please refer to the parent slip for Camp packing requirements. 

Report Card Review and Parent/Student/Teacher Conversations

This week, students have been reviewing their report cards during PG time under the guidance of the PG mentors. This process allows students to celebrate their successes and identify areas for improvement. We encourage families to review the report cards together and have positive conversations with their child. Support from home is an invaluable support for students and improves student achievement. 

In Week 2, parents will have the opportunity to meet with their child's teachers during our scheduled parent/student/teacher conversations. These meetings are a great opportunity to speak one-on-one with your child's teachers and discuss strategies to continue to support your child in their academic journey. 

All conversations take place in the HOB, and times must be booked with teachers via the Booked System.
